Ana’s philosophy is simple: “I want my clients to know and understand and I will find a way to make this happen.” In order to improve flexibility, mobility and range of motion, each client needs to be able to move consistently in order to move better. Good posture is essential, and every stride should be efficient. Life should be lived pain and injury free. If a client is educated about why they are doing a particular exercise, the client is more likely to incorporate these goals.
Teaching clients to accomplish these objectives is Ana’s passion. Ana does not “train to train,” because teaching always comes first. Work-outs are judgment-free, not intimidating and not competitive. Training with Ana is not like training in a corporate gym, although she has corporate gym experience. Instead, sessions are individually tailored for each client’s needs. Ana also teaches trainers in her core beliefs.
Ana is from Delano, CA, coached children’s T-ball and basketball, and was a referee. She firmly believed that if she could coach little kids, she could train adults, and launched her career in fitness. “Cross fit is my culture” is fundamental to her approach and helped her see what she wanted to build – a fitness community.
There is nothing static about Ana’s dedication to fitness, as she keeps abreast of current trends, fads, and her competition. Ana does not believe training stops at the end of a session, and she continues to research and refine methods after leaving the gym.
I have never been much of a fitness fan. In fact the idea of getting back into shape after a long time of unhealthy habits scared me tremendously. When I met Ana I was hesitant, but all those fears quickly washed away. Working out with Ana is both challenging and fulfilling. Ana is hardworking, fun loving, and takes a unique and creative approach to her fitness routine. She caters to your specific needs, and goes beyond the call of duty to make sure you produce results all while keeping you comfortable. One quality that is a constant is Ana’s reassurance and praise. She will celebrate your successes and stand along side of you while you pass new milestones. Kelsey and Ana make a great team in their immense knowledge of how to treat your body right. They are always helping their clients with the proper stretching and nutritional tips to maximize your workout and produce results. Since beginning my training with Ana, I have no doubt gained more self confidence, but also a lasting friendship. – Sam B
